It’s National Health Center Week — Let’s Celebrate Together!

Every August, communities across the country come together to celebrate National Health Center Week (NHCW), and Peach Tree Health couldn’t be more excited to join in the fun. This year, NHCW runs August 2–8, 2026, and we’re using the week to celebrate our patients, our staff, and the communities we’re proud to serve.

Sponsored by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), National Health Center Week celebrates and raises awareness of America’s 1,512 Community Health Centers. Together, these centers provide quality, comprehensive healthcare to 52 million patients across more than 17,000 communities nationwide — and Peach Tree Health is honored to be part of that story.

This year’s theme says it all: “Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most.”

A Week Full of Celebration

Each day of NHCW shines a spotlight on a different part of what makes community health centers special:

  • Monday, August 3 — Staff Appreciation Day: Celebrating the incredible people who show up every day to care for our community.
  • Tuesday, August 4 — Patient Appreciation Day: A day dedicated to YOU, our amazing patients.
  • Wednesday, August 5 — Health Conditions Focus: Raising awareness around the health conditions that matter most to our community.
  • Thursday, August 6 — Populations Day: Recognizing the diverse populations we’re honored to serve.
  • Friday, August 7 — Partner Appreciation Day: Thanking the partners who help us build healthier communities together.

Why Vaccinations Matter

As part of Health Center Week, we’re putting a special spotlight on vaccinations — and for good reason:

  • Vaccines protect children, teens, and adults from serious diseases like Hepatitis, Measles, and Influenza.
  • Staying up to date on recommended vaccines helps keep schools, families, and communities healthy.
  • Vaccines can prevent illness, reduce hospitalizations, and protect those who are most vulnerable.
  • Back-to-school immunizations help students meet school requirements and start the school year protected.

Not sure what vaccines you or your child might need? Just ask! Our staff is ready to talk it through with you.
