The Heart of Our Care: Your Career at Peach Tree

Peach at Work

“Mateo had been dealing with dental pain for weeks. His family shares one car, and with long work hours and an hour-long drive into town, accessing a traditional dental office simply wasn’t realistic. By the time our team saw him at school, on the Toothemobile, he was quiet, distracted, and struggling to eat. In the past, our team would have been limited to exams and referrals. This time, because of the equipment and systems made possible through Delta Dental’s grant, we were able to complete a deep filling right there at his school. Mateo received care in a familiar environment, his pain was resolved, and he returned to class before the afternoon bell. His parents didn’t have to miss work or arrange transportation, and Mateo didn’t have to endure another night of pain. This is what improved access looks like in practice—care delivered at the right time, in the right place.”
