Ana Perdomo, FNP-C, Expands Expertise in HIV Prevention and Inclusive Primary Care

By Michael Roberson, Director of Community Relations

At Peach Tree Health, we believe that great healthcare begins with a commitment to continual learning, collaboration, and professional growth. As healthcare continues to evolve, investing in advanced training and evidence-based practices is essential to ensuring patients receive the highest quality, most compassionate care possible.

That commitment was recently reflected through advanced professional training attended by Ana Perdomo, FNP-C, DNP-S, of Peach Tree Health’s North Sacramento Center. Ana participated in specialized education alongside Dr. Nasser Mohamed, a San Francisco-based physician specializing in LGBTQ+-affirming primary care, HIV prevention, and treatment.

Learning From a Leader in Inclusive Primary Care

Dr. Mohamed is the founder and physician of Osra Medical, a concierge medicine practice focused on individualized, direct-access care. His clinical focus includes LGBTQ+-inclusive primary care, mental health services, HIV prevention including long-acting injectable PrEP, and whole-person, patient-centered medicine. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine and is also recognized for his international human rights advocacy and leadership as President of the Alwan Foundation.

Strengthening Care Across the Region

For Peach Tree Health, opportunities like these are about more than professional development—they directly strengthen our ability to care for the communities we serve.

Ana’s clinical focus in addiction medicine, Hepatitis C treatment, HIV prevention, and substance use disorder care aligns closely with Peach Tree Health’s mission to expand access to integrated, compassionate, and evidence-based services throughout the region. Ana believes that “continually learning and growing as healthcare professionals allows us to better serve Peach Tree Health patients and ultimately build healthier, stronger communities for everyone.”

We are proud of Ana’s dedication to advancing her expertise and grateful for healthcare leaders like Dr. Nasser Mohamed who continue to shape the future of inclusive, community-centered medicine.
