New clinical leadership to bring emphasis on person-centered care as Peach Tree Health expands in Northern California.
Marysville, CA – Peach Tree Health has hired Hakeem O. Adeniyi, Jr., M.D. as new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Hakeem Adeniyi (pronounced AH-DAY-KNEE-YEE) is a Family Practice Physician that will be the Chief Medical Officer with oversight of the physicians and providers that make up Peach Tree Health’s extensive clinical experience and expertise.
Dr. Adeniyi is a graduate of Tuft’s University School of Medicine in Boston and the University of San Francisco’s Family and Community Medicine Residency Program. He comes to Peach from a large Bay Area Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) where he served as a Family Physician, Associate Medical Director and most recently the Regional Medical Director overseeing a number of community health center sites and providers. Dr. Adeniyi is a NextGen physician super-user who has been instrumental in the development of policies and procedures to integrate the EMR into a busy network of health center sites and has a strong personal devotion to serving the poorest residents of the community.
“I am very excited to bring Dr. Adeniyi to Peach Tree Health,” said Greg Stone CEO, “He will help build out our network of care in Sacramento and throughout the Northern California region while improving the quality of care at our health centers and health outcomes for our patients.”
Dr. Adeniyi tries to live by the quote often attributed to Sir William Osler, “the role of a physician is to cure sometimes, heal often, and comfort always.” Coming to Peach Tree Health has given Dr. Adeniyi the opportunity to expand on that belief, emphasizing the need to pursue a person-centered, family-focused approach to community health, outreach, and quality improvement. He looks forward to working with the Peach Tree Health staff and community partners to better meet the needs of the growing patient population.
